This website is operated for information and contact purposes for live sound, studio services and the distribution of selected Rupert Neve Designs products. Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary for the provision of the website, for communication and for the use of third-party services explicitly described below.

3. Server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically processes log data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, browser type, operating system, referrer URL). This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure security and stability of the systems.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website). Log files are usually deleted automatically after a short period, unless a longer storage is required in individual cases (e.g. to clarify security-related incidents).

4. Contact and inquiry forms

If you contact me via the RND product inquiry form or via the contact details provided, your details will be processed for the purpose of handling your request and for possible follow-up questions. This usually includes your name, e-mail address, the content of your message and, if applicable, product and project-related information.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract) and, where not directly contract-related, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). Data from inquiries will be stored for as long as necessary to process the request and meet retention obligations.

5. Cookies and consent management

This website uses cookies and comparable technologies in order to provide essential functions (e.g. security, language settings, spam protection) and, if you consent, statistics and media/marketing integrations.

Your preferences are stored using a technically required cookie or local storage entry so that your chosen settings are retained on subsequent visits.

6. Google Analytics (statistics)

Google processes usage data (e.g. page views, clicks, browser and device information) to compile aggregated statistics.

IP addresses may be shortened (IP anonymisation) so that direct personal reference is no longer possible. Google acts as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR if data is also processed in third countries without an adequate level of data protection (e.g. the USA). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.

7. Embedded media (YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Instagram)

Media content from external platforms (e.g. YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Instagram) may be embedded on this website. For data protection reasons, such content is loaded only if you have consented to the media category in the cookie settings or if you explicitly activate the content.

When the content is loaded, the respective providers may process usage data (e.g. IP address, device information, interactions) and set cookies on your device. This may also involve transfers to third countries (e.g. the USA), for which an adequate level of data protection is not guaranteed in all cases.

The legal basis for this integration is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. Details on data processing can be found in the privacy policies of the respective providers.

8. Google reCAPTCHA (security)

To protect forms on this website from misuse and automated spam, Google reCAPTCHA may be used. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. reCAPTCHA analyzes user behavior (e.g. mouse movements, input patterns) to distinguish real users from bots.

This is necessary to ensure the security and integrity of the website and forms. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protecting this website from abusive automated access) and, where applicable, Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR for data transfers to third countries.

9. Newsletter / Mailchimp (marketing)

If a newsletter function is offered in the future and you subscribe to it, your e-mail address and, if applicable, your name will be processed for the purpose of sending information about services and projects. For sending newsletters, an external service provider such as Mailchimp may be used.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via an unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
